CONCEPT & PLANNING
– STAGE 1 –
DEFINING THE BRIEF
We will discuss your project as a free consultation with no obligation to move forward with us. During the consulation we will talk you through your needs and your budget as well as every step of the prospective project in detail.
– STAGE 2 –
CONCEPT DESIGN
Whatever the type of build or dream you are trying to create, a range of surveys need to be carried out. We can do this for you or can help organise one of our recommended chartered
surveyors. Following the survey, we will begin creating a series of designs considering your main obiectives, available materials and how they can be used in the build.
We will monitor the costs and make sure that those are aligned with the budget.
DETAILED DESIGN
– STAGE 3 –
DEVELOPED DESIGN & PLANNING APPLICATION
The final approved design will be moved forward into more detailed drawings. In most cases, you’ll need agreed planning permission before a build can begin or maybe a Certificate of Lawfulness application. These final drawings alongside any other additional information will all form part of your planning application.
We can provide support and advice to form these documents and, depending on the complexity of the build, can source further specialist advice if required.
– STAGE 4 –
TECHNICAL DESIGN
We’ll coordinate with engineers and liaise with the local authority or othe building control companies to ensure that the build complies with the regulations. We work with trusted, quality builders and can help with tendering and contractor selection.
TENDER & CONSTRUCTION
– STAGE 5 –
TENDER & CONSTRUCTION
We’ll put together a very thorough detailed tender and construction drawings package for structural, mechanical, civil or electrical engineering if it’s required. We can assist with coordination on site, if you’d like us to. We’ll aim to ensure that work is progressing to deadline and kept on-point with the drawings and technical specifications we’ve agreed.
