Our Mission
Minutea Architectural Design was founded with a simple aim: to create homes that are practical, well considered, and designed around the people who live in them. Working across Wiltshire, the practice specialises in new homes, extensions, alterations, and conversions, delivering thoughtful design solutions that respond to both lifestyle and setting.
The name Minutea comes from the word minutiae, meaning the small and precise details of something. That meaning reflects the foundation of the practice. I believe it is the careful consideration of the smallest elements that elevates a building from ordinary to exceptional. While these details are sometimes overlooked, they are often what define the quality, performance, and character of a home.

In 2020, I established Minutea Architectural Design to bring together that experience with my own creative direction. I take a hands on and collaborative approach, guiding clients from initial concept through to completion. My aim is to design spaces that are carefully detailed, well resolved, and genuinely improve the way people live.
Having grown up in the Salisbury region, I have developed a strong understanding of the local area, its planning context, and its architectural identity. This local knowledge allows me to design homes across Wiltshire that feel both contemporary and rooted in their surroundings.
I studied for a BA Hons in Architectural Technology at Southampton Solent University, beginning my professional journey in 2007 with an apprenticeship at Barclay and Phillips Architects. After graduating in 2012, I have been working on a broad range of varied and award winning projects alongside experienced architects and technologists. Those years allowed me to develop strong technical knowledge, practical problem solving skills, and a deep understanding of the construction process.
